Screenshots of the two dials at 24hclock.com. On both, the background is recalculated every day from the real sunrise and sunset times of the chosen location, with a gradient across the civil twilight sectors.

Analog 24 hour clock dial: hours 1 to 24 laid out in a single revolution, with 12 at the top and 24 at the bottom. The blue sector marks daylight hours and the black sector night, with twilight gradients at dawn and dusk. — The whole day in a single sweep of the hand: each hour takes up 15 degrees, with noon at the top and midnight at the bottom. The blue arc represents the daylight hours of the current day and widens or narrows through the year with the season and the latitude.

Analog 12 hour clock dial with hour and minute hands, over a background split into a blue daylight sector and a dark night sector, with a gradual twilight transition. — The familiar 12 hour dial, with hour and minute hands, over the same dynamic background. Because it covers half a day, the background is recalculated when morning turns to afternoon: through the AM hours it spans sunrise to noon, and through the PM hours noon to nightfall.
